AAHVAN
With a vision to ignite interest in technology, the department initiated the tech fest “AAHVAN” in the year 2019. The primary objective was to encourage and motivate Junior College students to explore the world of technology and make them aware of the vast opportunities available for their future careers.
AY 2019-20
The Department organized an Inter-Collegiate event – AAHVAN for Junior College students of the suburban region on 14th August 2019. It was the first edition of the fest, receiving an enthusiastic and motivating response from multiple participating colleges.
AY 2020-21
The second edition of AAHVAN – A Tech Fest was conducted over two days on 28th and 29th October 2020, exclusively for Junior College students. Events included Chess, Carrom, 8 Ball Pool, and Call of Duty. The fest witnessed active participation from 101 students across the western suburbs of Mumbai.
AY 2021-22
On 3rd and 4th December 2021, the department organized another successful edition of AAHVAN for Junior College students of the suburb. Events such as BGMI, 8 Ball Pool, and Web Designing were conducted, with an impressive turnout of over 200 participants from various colleges.
AY 2022-23
AAHVAN 2022 was organized on 7th and 8th September 2022, featuring a creative and competitive mix of events such as Call of Duty (COD), Mehendi, Mandala Art, Mono Acting, and Solo Singing. The fest saw enthusiastic participation from over 100 students representing 42 different colleges, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
AY 2023-24
The 2023 edition of AAHVAN was conducted over three dynamic days from 23rd to 25th August 2023. The event lineup included BGMI, Solo Dance, Solo Singing, Mehendi, and Mandala Art. More than 250 students from prestigious colleges such as B.S.G.D. College, N.L. Dalmia College, BK Shroff College, MH Shroff College, and Thakur Ramnarayan Educational Campus participated, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.
AY 2024-25
The latest edition of AAHVAN was held on 29th and 30th August 2024, continuing the tradition of combining creativity and digital excellence. Events included Mandala Art, Mehndi, BGMI, Valorant, Solo Singing, and Solo Dance. The event attracted over 250 students from colleges across Mumbai’s western suburbs. The Bombay Suburban Grain Dealers Junior College was honoured as the Best Participating College for their outstanding performance.
