Ethics Policy
The journal is committed to maintaining the utmost integrity and ethical standards throughout every stage of the publication process. Authors are expected to adhere to the following principles:
1. Originality and Plagiarism
- All submitted manuscripts must be the authors’ own original work.
- If the work or words of others are used, appropriate citations and quotations must be provided.
- Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism (recycling one’s own published material without citation), is strictly prohibited.
2. Data Transparency and Retention
- Authors may be required to submit raw data related to their manuscript for editorial review.
- Authors should make such data publicly accessible, where possible, and are required to retain it for a reasonable period following publication.
3. Duplicate Submission
- The same manuscript must not be submitted to multiple journals at the same time.
- Republishing previously published work without citation or permission is prohibited.
- The submitted article will be removed without consideration.
4. Approval from All Contributors
- All authors listed must have made a significant contribution to the work.
- The manuscript must be approved by all co-authors and by the responsible authorities at the institution or organization where the research was conducted.
5. Peer Review Process
- Manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by experts in the relevant field.
- Reviewers are expected to:
- Maintain objectivity and provide constructive, non-hostile feedback.
- Avoid making defamatory, offensive, or personal remarks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all details of the manuscript.
- Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe and notify the editor promptly if unable to review.
- Reviewers must not use unpublished material from a submitted manuscript for their own research without the author’s consent.
6. Research Funding Details
- Authors must clearly disclose all sources of financial support for the research and/or manuscript preparation.
- The role of the sponsor, if any, in study design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, writing, and decision to publish must be stated.
- If the funding source had no involvement, this should be explicitly mentioned.
