BMS E-Commerce Operations

ABOUT PROGRAMME

  • Apprenticeship-based BMS Degree Programme in E-Commerce Operations is offered by Nagindas Khandwala College in collaboration with Logistics Sector Skill Council from the Academic Year 2020-21.
  • Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC), established by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) though National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC), has taken up a number of initiatives with the objective of creating adequate skills for gainful employment at various levels in Logistics Industry.
  • It's a 3-Year Under Graduate Programme which aims at providing skills, knowledge along with proper attitude to make the learner industry ready.
  • Learner will be in campus for two years and will be placed on an Apprenticeship Training in third year.
  • During Apprenticeship, learner will be getting a proper exposure of market, a monthly stipend of ₹9,000 and an experience certificate from Government of India.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

  • The programme is an initiative of MHRD and MoSDE.
  • Developed by industry for the industry.
  • Skills and Attitude in addition to knowledge, making learners industry ready.
  • Classroom learning only for two years and one year on the job training (apprenticeship).
  • Learner will receive a monthly stipend of about ₹9,000 during the apprenticeship training.
  • Apprenticeship is considered as Work Experience for which learner will get a Certificate from the Government of India.
  • Apprenticeship and Final Placements are arranged by Logistics Sector Skill Council.
