Nagindas Khandwala College assures that lessons on environmental conservation is not just imparted through the classrooms, but by certain actions on its campus as well. Considering the harmful effects of the plastic in environment and health of human, plants and other animals, the college has issued a ban on the usage of plastic bags and other plastic items in its premises. The college discourages its teaching and non-teaching staff and the students from using ‘single-use’ plastic in its premise. Moreover, in a bid to promote a ‘green campus’, the college prohibits students from parking their two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles inside the campus.
